Garstang Running Club’s male runners were out in force, yet again, at the Burnley fixture of the Mid Lances Cross Country league whilst the ladies sole representative was Denise Hughes who finished 107th in a field of 129.  The men’s race had a huge field of 266 with Mike Whyatt finishing an excellent 5th and first MV40.  Mike was followed by Richard Roberts, 110th, Phil Cornall 127th, Tony Pritchard, no doubt playing a captain’s role and hanging back to ensure all the team completed the course, 136th, Richard Jones 181st and Dave Barraclough 190th.
