Dave Neilands reports . . . .

Tim Warner of Garstang Running Club has a cunning plan to avoid those tedious but necessary long runs when preparing for a Marathon - he runs four Marathons per year.  Having done four last year he is "on course" again this year having done London and Edinburgh with Moray and Snowdonia to follow later in the year.  At the Edinburgh race in baking hot conditions (yes Scotland!!) he finished 415th in 3 hours 28 minutes with the 4095th and final competitor finishing in 7 hours and 47 minutes.
