Dave Neilands reports . . . .

How difficult a choice must it have been for Dave Barraclough of Garstang Running Club to decide upon the Great Hameldon Hill race and the delightful fells above Accrington over the flat promenade and the Blackpool 10k?  Not difficult at all most would say however only 112 runners were of a similar mind to Dave, who finished 62nd in 51.50 minutes, whereas 2925 runners completed the "boring" Blackpool race.  Leading the club home in 63rd place was Tony Pritchard in 38.08 with Paul Conlon (is this yet another racing comeback?) 560th in 48.00 and Pam Murphy (soon to design a Garstang vest that does not chafe?) 655th in 49.15 minutes
