Club Awards and report from the Annual Dinner

Many thanks to all who attended the annual dinner at the Pudding House on
Friday. Especial thanks to Tony Salisbury for organising the evening.

We all had a great time and were able to applaud the club trophy winners as
follows:

Womens Vets road race champion  Denise Hughes

Mens fell running champion       Richard Roberts (Richard forgot to send in
his 6 results, but was awarded the trophy on the night as there were no
other contenders)

Fastest Handicap time           Tony Pritchard

Most improved male runner       Mike Whyatt
Most improved female runner     Philippa Olive

We especially commended our tireless Secretary Helen Mitchell, without whom
this club would not function.

Many congratulations to all the winners. For those winners presented with
their trophies on the night, we ask you to get them engraved with your name
for 2006. If you submit a bill, then our Treasurer will re-imburse you all.
Those who were unable to attend or send a proxy, then the engraving is in
hand, and you can have your trophy when done.
